My Story

Hi, I’m Megan—a certified Functional Nutritionist, wellness coach, and dance/fitness educator with over 20 years of experience inspiring confidence through movement and health.

My path to functional nutrition has been shaped by years of personal struggle, curiosity, and a genuine passion for helping others feel their best. Like many, I’ve spent much of my life trying the latest fad diets—searching for sustainable results, only to end up frustrated and disappointed. Alongside that, I carried a lifelong battle with negative body image, which made the cycle even harder to break.

I currently own a dance studio in North Carolina, where I help build confidence in children through the joy of dance. With degrees in both psychology and dance, I’ve always been fascinated by the mind-body connection—especially the powerful relationship between the gut and the brain. Over the years, I’ve naturally incorporated nutritional guidance into my personal training sessions, whether virtual or in person, and even ran a cooking blog while living abroad.

Travel has been a huge part of my journey. I’ve lived in Haiti, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan—experiences that opened my eyes to the healing power of food, herbs, and traditional practices from cultures around the world. One of my favorite memories is shopping in the local markets of Morocco and cooking with the freshest ingredients—it reaffirmed my love for clean, whole foods and the magic of farm-to-table living.

I live by the philosophy of eating the rainbow and aim for a “five ingredients or less” rule when grocery shopping. I know what it’s like to want to eat clean on a budget, and I’m all about making nutrition simple, accessible, and enjoyable.

After dealing with my own health challenges, symptoms, and food sensitivities, I realized that “one-size-fits-all” nutrition doesn’t work. What finally helped me find balance—sustainably—was understanding my body and its unique needs. That journey inspired me to pursue a dream I had put on hold: becoming a Functional Nutritionist.

Today, I use that knowledge and experience to support others. My mission is to help you uncover the root causes of your symptoms, understand your body’s signals, and guide you toward realistic, lasting wellness—on your terms.

I’m so excited to be part of your journey.
